Screenplay Synopsis:
On the night of her birthday, Lily’s world fractures when a mysterious book in her attic writes her best friend’s name in blood-red ink — and Smiley vanishes. What begins as a childhood game spirals into a shifting nightmare of numbered rooms, mirrored realities, and a red prison built from memory itself. Hunted by a Skinwalker — an ancient entity that steals identities and feeds on fear — Lily is dragged into a labyrinth of doors where reality bends and trust becomes deadly. Guided by cryptic warnings, vanishing reflections, and journals from a forgotten survivor, she learns the curse doesn’t just kill — it erases. To escape, Lily must confront impossible choices: forget someone she loves, sacrifice her identity, or allow the darkness to consume her entirely. But even if she wins… the curse may already be inside her.

I Can See You From Behind explores the horror of losing identity, memory, and trust. The Skinwalker represents the fear of becoming someone you no longer recognize — or worse, being replaced entirely. The red prison symbolizes trauma, guilt, and manipulation, while the shifting doors reflect the instability of reality when fear takes control. This story blends psychological horror with emotional depth, focusing on friendship, betrayal, and the resilience of inner light. The visual language relies heavily on mirrors, distorted reflections, red-lit corridors, and claustrophobic spaces to create tension that feels personal rather than purely physical. At its core, this is not just a horror story — it is a story about identity, choice, and the terrifying question: If survival means forgetting who you are, is it still freedom?
