SPOTS is the son of ATLAS, the most famous racing horse in all of Europe. Unlike his father – a black stallion – Spots is a piebald—a smaller, less majestic type of horse that’s coat has a spotted pattern. One day, an old man named FARMER LEVIT visits the royal stable, and Spots is offered to him in a trade. When Levit gets sick, the animals become desperate to find some way to save him by training Spots for the Royal Race (if Levit can impress the king, he will have access to all the best doctors in the land). With the help of an older horse named SAMSON and the other animals, Spots wins the race, impressing not only the KING, but his own father. Spots reconciles with Atlas, Farmer Levit gets the care he needs, and all the animals from the farm move into the royal stable, where they enjoy a happy life together.
