The $5K purse matters less than the agency consideration attached. Zoetrope carries Coppola's legendary weight, which still moves representation conversations. Finalist status circulates to managers and agents faster than the winners get announced, which means your agent calls come before the official results hit the trades. The real game is getting into finalist circulation and having your script number land on a decision-maker's desk marked as a Zoetrope contender. Don't submit at 11:58 PM.
