Meara is a hawk for story, but also lets it breathe. He doesn’t pressure a story for it to be something else in order to solve a problem. He can zero in on one issue, that could fix the whole concern, instead of leaving that feeling where you’re not sure if the story you want to tell can work, or how important each note is.

I just completed my one hour follow-up phone call a couple of days ago... Had a blast talking about the project with Meara. He gave me more great notes. It’s now in my hands to make something of them. So…to review…for 150 Kinolimes (that’s 6 script and treatment reads)…I received two coverage reads, 15 pages of notes, and a one-hour conversation covering anything related to the project that I wanted to discuss. (I focused entirely on the script notes.) In my book, it’s an absolute no-brainer. The only question left for me is…how do I spend my next 150 Kinolimes?
