Faith Irving is a triple-threat: smart, beautiful, and athletic. When her mother Erica dies suddenly from a heart attack, she, big brother Stephen, and father James, struggle to find their new normal(s). Father and son, through their bickering, unwittingly leave Faith on her own for a time to process her mother’s death, navigate the remainder of her senior year in high school, college choices, and of course boys. One of those boys, Kenny is rough around the edges, but he and Faith have a genuine connection. Not surprisingly, and with Kenny by her side every step of the way, Faith eventually spirals out of control endangering an athletic scholarship to college.
