Amidst the beautiful landscape of Mankato a city in Minnesota USA lives Ayomikun, daughter of the current Moremi her mum, a heroic significance of Ile-Ife, Osun state Nigeria. The sudden illness of her mum leads Ayomikun back home. Upon returning home, Ayomikun is faced with the realities of assuming the responsibilities of becoming the next Moremi.
Face to face with the giftings of this new role, Ayomikun struggles to decide whether to use her giftings for her people or turn a blind eye on the many atrocities she encounters daily. Deciding to use her giftings will not only expose her and her beloved family to the world but will also attract unknown and unwanted enemies.
Alera and old childhood friend of Ayomikun fueled by revenge, a sense of injustice and the abnormal normalcy of impoverishment himself and fellow Nigerians have been subjected to by the incompetent leaders of their nation upon discovering Ayomikun’s prowess challenges her to work with him in bringing a change to the nation. Ayomikun judges his approach evil and encourages him to stop. This ensuing conflict not only tests the limits of Ayomikun’s abilities but also forces her and Alera to face an unexpected surprise.
As the struggle for who will succumb to their spoken requests unfolds, Ayomikun allies with Lekan, some warriors and Kisi, Alera’s sister. Together they face Alera’s threats and their internal strife that will influence Ayomikun’s conviction in fully assuming her role as the new Moremi.
