This adaptation of the mythological story of Daedalus and Icarus explores how obsession can lead to great dangers. Icarus finds himself trapped and struggling with his own imperfections, and feels that the only escape is to meet the sun. His childhood best friend Daedalus is aware of Icarus' quest, and is concerned for him. The two boys find themselves heading towards the sunset on two boats, Icarus leading the way, and fearful Daedalus catching up to him. As they head towards the sun, they explore their past, trauma, and Icarus' quest for the sun. Eventually, Icarus is faced with a difficult choice: Everything he wants vs. everything he has.
