The setting is the year 1940. Phred is a treasure seeker of anything of value. He loses his wife in the jungles of Zanzibar in search of ancient artifacts, but later hooks up with Jezebel. She and her brother (Angelo) are descendants of Michelangelo. Phred and Jezebel fabricate a con to auction two paintings of her brother, claiming the painting hand of Michelangelo has been passed down to Angelo. The con worked and they sold the paintings for an obscene amount. Bad thing is, the checks bounced, and the buyers fled with the paintings. Then by happenstance Phred and Jezebel come across some incriminating documents to blackmail Stalin, that could in turn, change the events of the war that was soon to begin on the eastern front-But, in the mean time two greedy, lying, murdering thieves kill Angelo in search of the documents, and in turn hook up with Wil. A man that could lead them to Phred and Jezebel. After a dispute Wil, Phred, Jezebel and the two murderers team together and attempt to blackmail Stalin with the documents in exchange for a million rubles. But murder, lies, and deception are in their path as they try to avoid the Russian military police.
