The Murder of Gita Menon and her father Raman Menon occurs in quick succession. While her father dies quietly, she dies a gory death and in consequence of which she becomes a ghost for the time being.. Raman Menon wrongly suspects a person called Toby Smith of being his daughter’s murderer. He longs for vengeance on Smith and as he is unable do it in this life, he decides to do it in his next. Soon he passes through the process that takes him to his next birth which happens to be in New York. Now he is an American named Dave Lethem. He has a girlfriend called Liza Shepherd.
Gita Menon is murdered by a person called Gopal by pushing her down a chasm as she refused to be his wife also for other reasons. Later he tells Menon that he saw Smith pushing Gita down the chasm creating a wrong impression on her father. Later as a ghost, Gita witnesses Gopal’s assistant murdering Raman Menon. So, she kills both Gopal and his assistant Rajan for murdering her father who is blissfully unaware of this as he progresses through the tunnel.
After taking revenge for both hers and her father’s death, she levitates to New York where she senses her father is. She goes under the name of Becky. Toby Smith returns to his village in England. And after many years he migrates to the US, settling down in New York. Now all the principal players of the drama are in New York.

With the coming together of the principal players in New York, the plot thickens. Lethem Who Is Gita’s father Menon in his previous life, thinks that Thomas killed Gita even in his new avatar.. So, he goes about to achieve his goal of avenging Gita’s death, while Gita who is Becky wants to prevent it at all costs. The showdown occurs in a wooded area near New York. As Lethem is about to deal with the deathblow, Becky takes the form of Gita and relates the true story of their deaths to Lethem, the erstwhile Raman Menon in his previous reincarnation. Lethem and his girlfriend move to Napa Valley to start a new life and they have their first child who is none other than Gita in her reincarnation.
