Keep It In The Bedroom

Hopefully, the film will particularly resonate with adolescents and remind adults of their past adolescence. There are few films that tell the stories of teenagers growing up in the 2020s- the go-to story being one of an adult who can use big words to address all the geopolitical and social changes of the time. However, the stories of young people are always vital. So my main goal with Keep It In The Bedroom is to bring a discussion of the modern struggles of youth to the table. I wrote from my own experiences as a teenage male, and aspired to write a unique and universal story. The final piece must be an off-putting blend of sci-fi and coming of age. Different elements of the modern world - namely the physical and the digital - will be involved, requiring creative and intentional set and prop design. All in all, I strongly believe that Keep It In The Bedroom will resonate with audiences of all ages, and bring forth a pivotal discussion that is often overlooked.
