In a dystopian Tokyo, Haruto Takeda, a former Yakuza heir, creates a deadly game that exploits human desperation for profit and entertainment. Takeda, along with his associates Ryuji, Fujimoto, and Reiko, manipulates desperate individuals into participating in life-threatening challenges while wealthy spectators bet on the outcomes. The game evolves from simple survival contests to complex, AI-driven psychological manipulations. Five desperate individuals - Min-jun, Ji-hye, Woo-sung, Seon-hee, and Hyun - each facing dire circumstances, are lured into participating in the game. They find themselves in the Rooster Room, forced to eat potentially poisoned fried chicken within a time limit. As the stakes escalate, the participants must confront their own survival instincts and moral boundaries. The game's true nature is revealed when hidden cameras expose that their ordeal is being broadcast to high-stakes betters worldwide. The story explores themes of power, greed, and the depths of human desperation, set against the backdrop of a technologically advanced but morally bankrupt society.
