Director's statement:
I wrote what I wanted to see. I wanted a film that combined adventure with a new theme. I was tired of seeing films where the character's main goal was to gain fortune or fame. I wanted to see something where the losers did not become winners by merely getting better at what they were terrible at but a group of losers going out and seeking what they were good at. I wanted a story where the audience can see themselves in the character. A story where what the characters did not only affected them but those around them as well. I wanted to create something cool, something that made people cry, cheer, and think. In life we all come to storms the question is will we go around it or through it. And if we go through it will we slip into madness? Will that madness destroy us or make us strong.
