Moss is the son of a violent and reckless crime lord, Don, who forces him to work for him. After Moss gets shot during a failed diamond heist, they break into Zizo's home, a medical student, and demand her to remove the bullet. Moss is respectful toward her - he's a priest as well, after all. His name is revered around those parts. Both because he's Don's son and because he gives back to the community. Meanwhile, Moss is trying to convince Zizo which man he really is - criminal or priest. And he wins, because she falls in love with him and so does he. But the rumors on the street gain momentum and imagination. They put Moss in seeming competition with his father - a competition he wants absolutely no part of. One of the rumors is that the diamond heist wasn't a failure and Moss knows where they are. Of course, it's not true but Don believes them. So much, that he sets fire to the clinic Zizo works at. This scares Moss because they have a son now and he would turn the world to hell if anything happened to his family. So, he decides to go looking for the diamonds and he leaves his family without protection. Zizo and her son, Asa, are left in a community that's between hating a "lying" priest or hating a "criminal". She lives in hiding and resorts to selling sex to provide for her son. This puts a strain on her mental health and the relationship with her son. Asa, who would rather have his mother happy, is trying his best to hide the fact that he's lonely and afraid. He's seen dead people and violent things... and he's starting to make friends.
