Screenplay Synopsis:
At the coveted parent-daughter weekend of her sorority, hard-partying Ella Muller (21) reluctantly welcomes her estranged father, Hans Muller (55), a Nietzsche-obsessed Stanford professor with a penchant for overthinking and unsolicited wisdom. Determined to bond with his daughter, Hans seizes the weekend as an opportunity to instill Nietzschean ideals of self-mastery and resilience. However, Ella has other plans: enacting revenge on her cheating ex-boyfriend.
What begins as a chaotic collision of intellectual pontification and sorority debauchery quickly spirals into madness. From muddy relay races to lots of projectile vomit, Hans is dragged through a gauntlet of absurd trials that force him to confront the impracticality of his philosophy and his failings as a father. Along the way, Ella’s impulsive thirst for vengeance starts unraveling, revealing deeper wounds in their relationship. By the weekend’s end, both discover that true strength comes from vulnerability, connection, and a little chaos.
