Director's statement:
I wanted to make a story about living in the moment. Sometimes, we focus on the past too much, that we miss out on daily moments that could change our lives. If we decide to make our mindset positive, we might have a new door open for us, and find what we’ve been searching for. While this story includes a love story between Jack and Valerie, it might not always be love we are searching for. We may desire friendships, success, or a new way of thinking. It’s so important to take a look around. While we as humans all go through struggles such as grief, heartbreak, and daily tribulations, there is hope knowing that we have support systems and sometimes fate may bring us something good. Even if it isn’t fate for everyone, working hard brings new change and success. I wanted to recognize that each person, despite how successful or happy they may be, deals with some sort of pain. Despite this, making positive changes such as Valerie does, can help someone grow and heal. I hope that this story brings joy, laughter, and hope to everyone who may see it.
